Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati (30 Kms / 1.5 Hrs)

• Welcome to gateway to Northeast

  • Arrive in noon at Guwahati Airport also known as Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport. Proceed to the Hotel. After check in to the hotel, spend your time leisurely by self. In the Evening we would go for a river dinner cruise at the mighty Brahmaputra River.
  • Enjoy our Sunset, Sundown, and Dinner Cruises as the Brahmaputra glows under the evening sky. Each sailing features live music, classical and folk dance performances, and storytelling that celebrates Assam's culture. Return back to Hotel for dinner and good night sleep.

Day 2: Drive to Shillong (100 Kms / 03 Hrs)

It is an important pilgrimage destination for Hindu and especially for Tantric worship.
  • After Darshan, drive to Shillong (4 hours), the capital city of Meghalaya. Positioned amidst high plateaus, waterfalls, meandering rivers and thick pine groves, Shillong, is a natural splendor. Shillong came into its own under the British as a garrison town, and retains a laidback colonial charm, with its cathedrals and cottages dating from that era Later, En Route enjoy lunch and upon arrival check into the hotel in Shillong. Day 4: Drive to Cherrapunjee via Mawlynong Village and Dawki (200 Kms - 8 Hrs)

• A Hidden Paradise and a Cleanest Village

  • After breakfast, leave for Mawlynnong, a tiny village on the Indo Bangla border, which has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in Asia. On the way, we will visit the Dawki, a small border town located on Jaintia Hills and is famous for river Umngot. The river with its greenish-bluish water, is so clear that one can see the bottom of the river even from as high as the bridge over the river. Enjoy boating on the crystal clear water of the lake where one will feel like floating over a big aquarium. Dawki, also known as Tamabil, is the border of the Countries of India and Bangladesh and an important trade route. It gives you an opportunity to reach the famous Pillar numbered 1275 that marks the International Border.
  • Living Root Bridge and Waterfalls.
  • Today after lunch, you will have an option to spend your time at leisure enjoying the natural beauty of the abode of clouds. If you are physically fit for trekking, then proceed to a unique living root bridge. Reaching the upper bridge, which is 20 meter long, is a tough but a worth - it task. Please take note that one needs to be physically fit to reach the upper bridge. The oldest living root bridge of the region is at a height of 1400 feet and is 74 m long. Created by the people of the Khasi tribe, these roots grow from the ancient rubber trees and are trained by the Khasis to grow in such a manner as to be in the form of bridges on the top of a river. These bridges are an amazing alternative to wooden bridges that dwindle with so much rain falling on them.

Day 5: Cherrapunjee Local Sightseeing

Beneath the surface of Meghalaya's misty hills, this subterranean world twists and narrows, revealing chambers shaped by water and silence. It's not just a cave - it's a passage through geology, myth, and the slow artistry of nature. Later visit the Nohkalikai Falls, the 4th highest waterfall in the world, simply splendid and magnificent. Later, Visit Eco park and admire the astonoshing view of Mawsmai Falls, regarded as the 4th highest falls in India and also known as the Seven Sisters falls which is aptly derived from the way the falls runs down from the top of treacherous limestone cliffs of the Khasi Hills.

• The above quotation has been based on specific hotels. In case the hotel rooms are not available as specified above the alternate hotels will be suggested. The difference in cost is payable extra.
• Refund Policy - No refund if any lockdown and emergencies arise due to Pandemic or any other reason beyond our control. Flight rescheduling charges will be extra payable for future scheduled travel date.

• If the Client is willing to cancel his/her booking because of whatsoever reasons including accident, illness, or any other personal reasons including non-payment of the balance payment, the Company is liable to recover Cancellation charges from the Client. • In case of any Flight Cancellation Before Departure/ No Show / Delay / which are beyond to the control of Goldenagers.in or any other changes effected by the Airlines same Cancellation policy apply for Hotel and Land Part only and Refund of Flight Part will depend upon receipt of refund from Airline & Goldenagers.in does not have any liability for same.
